Artisanal Jewellery

Luri means lustre, ornament in Etruscan, the language of an ancient people that has brought about exceptionally skilled goldsmiths and fascinating jewellery.
Inspired by these masterpieces, I create jewels with a personal character that underline your individuality and last for generations. Each piece is completely made by hand in the age old craft of goldsmithing. This is what I love and traces of this process make every jewel unique.
Precious materials
LURI jewellery stands the test of time since I only use high karat gold that will never tarnish and be enjoyable for future generations to come, just as the timeless designs.
Sourcing traceable materials with a positive impact is a priority to me. The gold I use is from small mining projects that maintain high social and environmental standards, such as Fairtrade® Gold. Coloured gemstones and diamonds usually come from small international businesses, that buy directly at the mines and let the gems get cut there in order to empower the communities and leave as much profit as possible at the source instead of with the many traders that are usually involved.
I believe that real sparkle comes from within, it is an intrinsic value of materials, intentions and actions that together form every piece of LURI jewellery.

The founder

I am Lisa, a trained goldsmith and restorer-conservator with a passion for antique jewellery and symbolism. Already as a child I have been fascinated by the sparkle and shine of jewels. When I went to Venice for the first time at the age of four on holiday with my family and crossed the Rialto bridge full of jewellery glowing in the sun, I decided that I would sell my own creations there some day.
Quite some years have passed since then, but this dream remained and evolved. Now I create unique pieces in precious materials to fit you and your beloved ones.
With master goldsmith Eva Nedza in Frankfurt (Germany) and at the Accademia delle Arti Orafe in Rome (Italy), I learned the traditional skills of the patient art to make jewellery.
