Jewellery is something deeply personal and especially heirlooms hold precious memories of beloved people. But sometimes we need to integrate these pieces into our own lives and our own style to honour them.

The transformation of a heirloom jewel

At LURI the transformation of your heirlooms is guided by respect and empathy. Everything starts with the attentive observation of your jewel, its history and its meaning to you. Then we will share our thoughts on how a redesign could look like and after agreeing, I will start with the transformation on my bench. I will keep you updated in every step of this delicate process.

I feel very honoured to be entrusted with your personal treasures. The use of your heirloom materials, though, can also bear risks such as fragile gems or incompatible alloys. Their treatment, thus, requires time and expertise. 

Prices 

Please consider an additional cost starting from 150 euros excluding all materials. For example, if you would like your jewel to be transformed in an already existing design of mine.

For a complete custom design the price will be according the complexity and we will agree on a range before starting.

Conditions

Please be aware that a heirloom transformation is available for gold jewellery (alloys 14 karat or higher) only. Half of the estimated price is due before I start working and cannot be reimbursed.
